Pau Gasol Sáez is a Spanish professional basketball player from FC Barcelona, La Liga ACB and EuroLeague. He's six times NBA All-Star and four All-NBA, twice in the second team and twice in the third team. Gasol has won two NBA championships, both returning to the Los Angeles Lakers in 2009 and 2010. He was the NBA Rookie of the Year in 2002 with the Memphis Grizzlies, being the first non-American player to win the award. He is the brother of fellow NBA player Marc Gasol. Gasol was selected by the Atlanta Hawks with a third overall pick in the 2001 NBA Draft Round 1, but his rights were transferred to the Memphis Grizzlies. He holds the Grizzlies franchise record for executed and attempted free throws. After more than six seasons with Memphis, Gasol has played for the Los Angeles Lakers, Chicago Bulls, San Antonio Spurs and the Milwaukee Bucks.
